DUNGEON LOG: KEYSTONE SHORE
The morning of the 9th, everyone will get a message sent to their communication devices -
Okay, guys! I think we have enough stabilizers to try and get the shoreline stable. If you want to help out, grab your supplies and come on up to the roof!
When characters arrive at the roof, they'll find Top - with a wheeling table full of many copies of the same odd-looking device - the two exploratory drones, and a ramp down off the roof to the ground. (The latter looks a little hastily constructed.)
"Okay," Top says, picking up one of the devices. "Here's the stabilizers. Stick them to walls and stuff - mostly out of the way places where they're not going to get knocked off - and then press the buttons along the side."
They demonstrate, unfolding the set of legs at one end of the device before showing the buttons to anyone who's close enough. "Go ahead and take a couple, especially if you've got one of those space-saving inventories going on, I know there's like four of you with those? Strange got some first aid kits together, too, if you want."
Sure enough, another table nearby has the med kits... As well as traditional paper bag lunches, courtesy of Bottom. Don't question it too much.
"We'll be staying back here to keep track of the stabilization progress and work the drones," Top says, "but don't hesitate to call if you get in trouble! We'll send one of these guys down to get you an evac if you need it."
And with that, you're free to go down the ramp... Or to make for the beach however else you might choose to go.

[As suggested, Goro stows several of the stabilizers in a bag tied around his waist, at his right hip, that by all rights should only fit one of them. Since he already came in with a first aid kit of his own, in addition to healing powers, he passes those over and puts the bagged lunch in his pouch.
Then he heads over past the entrance to the lighthouse and a pair of angelic wings appear folded on his back.]
I should be able to carry one other person down with me, if there's anyone who can't fly and would rather not navigate the caverns.
[March 9 - Skyclimb Cliffs]
[The cliffs are, without a doubt, Goro's favorite part of the beach. Sure, he could fly along them looking for a place to put the stabilizer...but where would be the fun in that? Besides, he'd miss out on all the treasure tucked away in the crevices.
Instead, he's opted to take the more mundane approach: putting his rock climbing skills to good use. He moves along the cliffs with impressive ease, digging his fingers and toes into the crevices and pulling himself up or along ledges to places he'll be able to get higher.
Every now and then, he instead pulls a water crystal out of a crack. Usually, after pausing to look it over, he shoves it into a pocket and continues on...except he's not the only one on these cliffs interested in trinkets. His attention is focused on adjusting his grip on the cliff when he hears the telltale meow, and he doesn't realize until too late that these gulls steal more than just food. The bird snatches his prize out of his hand, winging off with it as the unfortunate explorer stumbles and has to cling to the rocks to avoid falling the rough dozen feet he's made it up by this point.]
[March 11 - Glitterstone Beach]
[Okay, he takes it back, maybe this is his favorite part of the beach. The scales glittering in the sand are beautiful, and exactly the right sort of flashy to grab Goro's attention. He's still keeping an eye out for places to set up the stabilizers, of course, but he can't quite help himself from gathering up the glass-like scales and stowing them in his bottomless pockets. Maybe it's not exactly a productive use of his time, but look. They might be useful.
Or maybe they're just shiny and he's living up to his nickname of Crow. Either way, they sure do have his attention.]
[Either night - Bloodsands Beach or Glitterstone Beach]
[People might have noticed by now that Goro's something of an insomniac, but all this exploring (and random encounters) have left even him drowsy. After dark, he sets up camp, such as it is: a blanket or two and pillow from the Station spread out over the sand, with wrapped food set out on top of it for dinner. If he sees anyone passing, he'll wave them over, a cup of hot chocolate in one hand.]
Good evening. If you're hungry, I brought some extra food. I'm afraid it's all things that can be eaten cold, but it's certainly enough to share.
Expedition: Start!
Me! I do!

I can't say I'm surprised. Do you have a preference for which side of the cliff we land on? I'm considering the larger one myself, since I'm sure there's going to be a lot of cliff face that needs stabilizers set on it.

I don't mind, wherever you want!
[He gives the tip of the feathers an investigative brush, just to check that they're really there.]

3/10, Glitterstone Beach, evening
[The gray-skinned old man says it politely, rather than dismissively.]
I eat a lot, and wouldn't want to take up your food that you brought for yourself.
[He pauses, and the tip of his tongue-- longer and thinner than a human's tongue, though not quite to the point of looking like it belongs to a lizard-- flicks out.]
... though I won't say no to some of that stuff you're drinking. It smells like chocolate.
no subject
[He sets his own cup down carefully between his knees and holds out a second that's just appeared from nowhere.]
Hot chocolate isn't my specialty, but even I'm not going to be making myself coffee right before bed.
no subject
[He tilts his head, accepting the cup, but rather than drinking, he holds it up and looks it over, closer to his good eye than his bad one.]
How did you do that? The making it appear out of nothing thing.

This is... Quite a minimalist camp you have going here. Dangerously so, I'd think...

Are you planning some kind of project with those too? Or just collecting them for fun?

[He gestures to the blanket spread out to provide a sand free surface.]
Would you like something to drink? I can provide some things that would be difficult to carry on a trip like this.

[She takes a seat at the corner, folding her legs under her so that her boots are still resting in the gravel beyond the edge of the blanket. Not that there's as much to track onto the fabric here as there is on the sandier beach on the other side of the peninsula, but there's no harm in taking a little care with someone else's camp site.]
That'd be real kind. Nothing sweetened with fructose, though.

3/9 Skyclimb Cliffs
He drifts down a little to Goro's level, giving his boyfriend a terribly amused look from his spot floating in the air.]
A bit disingenuous to clutch at handholds like that, isn't it, darling?

[Now that his mind has caught up to what's happening, he lets go of the cliff and floats over to Kurama with a huff.]
Still, that's an odd thing for a seagull to go after...
no subject
[His huff gets a smile and Kurama offers the stolen crystal back to him with a little bit of a flourish.]
It's odd to see hermit crabs big enough to live in bottles. Perhaps the seagulls are affected by the Fissure as well. ...it would explain why they meow.

[Prompto doesn't mind being waved over for food. He didn't bring that much.]
I don't remember how I got along before Noct made me part of the Crownsguard. Once you get used to instant inventory, it's so hard to go back.

[He gestures to the food laid out. It's a mixture of pre-packaged food, fruit, and whatever leftovers he could find in the fridge...but it's food.]

What's a king to a nighttime picnic?]
I've some hot soup still, if you'd like to trade.
no subject
Would you like a warm drink, though?
no subject
[He does also! Have a bowl of soup for you. And crackers. The crackers are extremely important.]
It looks like the supplies have been holding up well enough between us.
