[Well, the trip's been a long time coming, and Akira figures if nothing else, it might as well be best to get this done now. There's a lot that needs to be done in the coming week...]

[As for the rest of the week, when she's not doing her usual training, Akira can be found bustling around the station.

... You'd think after helping with the Halloween party, she'd be sick of doing things in the kitchen, but that's clearly not the case, as she can be found cooking up... far too much food for just herself (even taking Wildcard portions into account...).

Or, some might catch her sewing--though, it's not the usual stuffed animals she busies herself with. That... sure is a growing pile of scarves next to her... though there's one that's folded and sitting apart from the rest. That one might be going into someone in particular.

And then it's entirely possible that occasionally, she's down at the stable, taking care of a black pegasus there.]

Sorry, Est, I think you're gonna have to sit this one out...

That sounds like a good idea. I was already thinking we should pick up some coats and boots for the new arrivals.

[Goro shows up in male form, wearing a shirt most people would consider much too light for the weather. He's cut a couple holes in the back, as he's currently sporting his smaller wings. Yaeki's decided to tag along, trailing behind his feet.]

[She puts down the scarf she's currently working on to rub at the back of her neck.]

Admittedly, a lot of these aren't for me. We're approaching winter anyway, and who knows how many people could use something like this...

Good thinking! Winters would get pretty bad back home, so when we first went to Incendia I was sure to pick up some cold weather gear even though it was the middle of summer.

I kind of wish I'd thought to do the same at the time. I'm pretty used to what several people would consider nasty winters, but I'm sure not everyone here is.

Is it strange I'm actually kind of looking forward to winter, though?

[The fabric she's been using for these is, upon examination, pretty heavy, so there's no doubt what she's making these for.]

[Ah... They sure are. Rantaro's patched up clothes by hand a couple of times, but he isn't sure about making an entire scarf. Looks easy though...]

[Minato's been sewing quite a bit lately, himself, and well. It's an activity that lends itself well to sitting out in public. Though it's all work on one large project, rather than multiple smaller. The fabric is a bold shade of red. He glances over at her scarves.]

Preparing for the next Fissure?

Sure am. Figured we could use some stocking up for the new people, especially if people get dragged in without appropriate clothing.

[Which is all but a guarantee.]

... Plus, some of these are for people around here. [Indicating the one that's been set aside from the rest.] Margulis-san needs all the protection from the cold he can get, for instance.

Basically guaranteed. Good thinking. [He looks down at his own project. Maybe....he should set it aside, to help make more general use things?] Probably a good idea to stock up on blankets, too.

...Is he sensitive to cold? [Minato has only met Margulis the one time...]

That'd be a good idea, too, yeah... I'll be sure to pack a bunch before we leave.

[At the question, she rubs at the back of her neck.]

If he's as scarred up as I imagine he is, the cold certainly won't be pleasant by any means. Mind, I only have that one on his face to go by but between that and his personality... he seems like the type who'd see scars as things to be proud of.

[To be proud of. Right. So, either Margulis and Akihiko should absolutely meet....or they should never be allowed to meet, ever.]

Think I know the type. Only met him once...did give off a warrior's aura, or something.

Hey, you making provisions for the trip? I'm not going, but I do know how to make one hell of a peach cobbler.
