[ He's grinning a little, and then tossing one dart from the fifteen-foot-mark...
... to barely make it! The fact that he made it at all, though, has him doing a brief fist pump. ]

Well, if that's the way you want it, then let's see.
[Sync lifts the dart, tests it balance and flips it a few times in his hand, then aims at the fifteen foot target, throws...
...and the dart buries itself dead centre. Sync is honestly a little surprised, but he doesn't let it show, smirking a little instead]

Akira's eyebrows lift, and he releases a low whistle. He might be competitive and the type to goad someone on, but he's definitely no sore winner. If anything he's grinning. ]
Impressive! [ casually flipping the second dart he'd been holding ] I wonder if you could do that a second time, though~
[ And, well, if there's anything that can be said about having a competitive fiance who's very into darts...? It's that it gives a persona a lot of dart practice, which is apparently paying off. Since, when he throws the dart this time, it hits almost in the center of his next target! ]

Nice shot. And there's one way to find out.
[He takes another dart, checks to see its balance, and after a moment throws it...! Not a centre hit this time, but he does hit the target solidly in one of the inner rings]

Looks like I should have made another one that was even more difficult, after all. Still, you've earned two prizes.
[ He's reaching into his pocket and pulling out one Revivadrin and one container of Master Curry. ]
The first thing can revive someone and restore about half their health in the process, and the second fully restores mental energy.

[It's not humble, it's just. Fact stating. Sync is very general about that kinda thing. He examines the items curiously, the idea of prizes (or at least winning them) a new one to him]
They sound useful. You sure you're fine with giving those away?
no subject
[ And then he's nodding! ]
Definitely. I'm always making more curry, and the Revivadrin [ gently gesturing with the hand holding that one ] is something I still have more of. The more people armed with useful items, around here, the better it'll be in the long run.
no subject
[No way to be disarmed either. He listens and eventually takes the curry and Revivadrin]
Well...thanks. [Said as someone who uses that word properly barely, if ever. Awkward Sync is awkward with social niceties] It'll be good to have.

That's why I took up learning hand-to-hand. Daggers are small and easy to hide, but mind could always wind up knocked from my hand. And, while I have the abilities and spells that my Personas provide, there's always the chance of running out of mental stamina.
[ With a very small wave of one hand, he shakes his head. ]
If you like, I can try teaching you how to turn your own food and drink into health and mental restoring items.
no subject
[Too hard to maneuver with, in Sync's opinion. He tilts his head at the offer]
I wouldn't say no, but I admit I don't make food or drink all that often. I'm used to others making it, so my skills aren't great. [He can do very basics, but that's about it]
no subject
That's fair. Makoto seemed to feel the same way.
[ With that last part, he gives a small smile. ]
Actually, it's not about making it. You can make your own for it, but I'll admit a majority of the food items I used, were all prepared before I got them.
no subject
Huh. That's interesting. Then yeah, if it ends up being something that can help me, it'll be useful. I can't make gels, even if I had the ingredients for them.
no subject
It's definitely useful. Some food and drink items can even cure status ailments, such as Shock or Despair.

You're forced to linger on all your worst memories, and your will to live becomes compromised. If the ailment isn't cured, the person dies in a matter of minutes. It's one of a several that doesn't just wear off.

[It's strange to think about, that there was beings capable of killing that quickly by only changing another's thoughts. Mental illness wasn't something Sync knew about so this is a little disturbing to him]
no subject
All of the Metaverse was influenced by people's hearts and minds, so I guess that's why I never questioned the ailments that affected the minds too closely. All things considered, it made a lot of sense to me.
no subject
[He pauses, thinking on that for a short moment] I guess that explains that list a little more, then. Why those would be something.
no subject
It's handy, at least, when going against your enemies. We caused plenty of Shadows to fall to Despair, and it definitely made the battles go quicker. That and the flu.
no subject
I see...it's different, but no less useful. Using the right tactics to win. Smart.
