Even at the end there wasn't an ounce of remorse. At first, Rush thought I wanted to replace him. In the end he got that I didn't, but it just made him confused.

He didn't understand why we were so angry.

I think Cyriac was the same. He could... tell how others were feeling, you know? And he didn't care. He could feel how much he hurt others, and he didn't care. There was no regret at all.

They started out just like us, and they used their power to subjugate the entire Earth. I don't think they could understand why someone WOULDN'T do that if they could. It just makes me feel sick thinking about someone that fucked up.

Yeah.

But it's over. They can't do anything like that ever again. And we can do our best to make sure there won't be anyone like that ever again.

[Like ten seconds later he reappears, wearing sunglasses.]

Okay! I'm ready.

[He flips the sunglasses up onto his forehead.]

But when they're done, I'll be ready.

[she actually laughs at that.]

Though I should only aim for one, I don't think you guys would be happy if I blew them all up myself.

Yeah, I don't have any fancy lasers so I was just gonna burn mine.

Could throw it into the atmosphere and let it burn up on coming down.

No good. I wouldn't be able to see it burn from up there. Really, ordinary fire will do fine.

If it makes you feel better, though, Izunia gave me some fireworks to stuff in his chest.
