The short version is that (as you may have noticed) my mental and emotional response to the current situation is completely out of control. As in, I know it's highly irrational but I also cannot stop it from happening.

There are a few people here who have the ability to perform a sort of cognitive correction, which I have asked for in the hopes that it will make that stop happening. But the normal process of this requires a physical location that is meaningful to the person in question.

...Which, slightly esoterically, is the Ring, as the place where I spent almost the entirety of the last two thousand years.
