You and me, we are two stars from different galaxies
Who: Prompto Argentum
photoshooter; OPEN
What: Come meet the chocobaby, help Prompto research daemon malaria, return to Amesta Forest for a hunting trip, and/or experience hand-cooled soft drinks as Prompto practices his newfound magical skills.
When: IC dates April 22nd to May 1st
Where: Around Keystone Station and the fringes of Amesta Forest.
Warnings: Potential discussion of magical blood-borne diseases in the second prompt.
Any day, anywhere in Keystone Station: Sunshine, baby!
[The forest trip wrecked Prompto's sleep schedule, but it seems after a few days' rest, he's finally back to being more or less diurnal. He's even up to visiting some of his usual haunts, particularly the chicken room and tech lab.
But most importantly, wherever he goes, he's accompanied by a sweet little ball of sunshine. She's riding in style, complete with snacks and padded seats, and peers out from under her starry orange canopy with unruffled interest--unless someone approaches, in which case she starts fluttering and kwehing in her cheepy baby voice.]
Oh, hey. [Prompto smiles and waves.] You wanna say hello? She's friendly.
April 26th-27th, morning, Annex roof
[It's early, and the steady drumming of rain on the glass roof is enough to make anybody drowsy. Maybe that's why Prompto can be found snoozing in one of the lounge chairs with a pillow (and Sunshine, of course, asleep in her wagon). He's in his glasses and an enormous white T-shirt over his usual pants, so it may be he woke up sometime in the night and came to get some reading done. There's a book open across his chest, after all.
Except... it's a medical textbook? And Prompto's written some notes on his hand. They're hard to read, but one of the keywords seems to be plasmodia.
So that's probably awesome.]
April 28th, day, fringes of Amesta Forest
[Maybe Chocodaddy has custody of Sunshine today, because Prompto's making good on his promise to bring meat in. Don't eat his clucky babies.
Stabilized or not, he's making sure to stick solidly to the fringes of the forest and keep moving. He's even got a real hunting rifle for the occasion.]
April 30th - May 1st, afternoon, Bloodsands Beach
It's hot...
[Wow, what a whiner. Then again, Prompto's keeping well back from the water, instead focusing on Sunshine playing in the sand with a parent's watchfulness. Because he's staying with her wagon, of course, he's on belongings-minding duty, too. He holds a bottle of water against his neck, sighing as it warms in the sun--and then a thought occurs to him.
He looks at the bottle in his hand, concentrates, and then... crickle crack. A layer of frost laces across the plastic, cold seeping inside before fading in the sun's warmth again. After a moment, Prompto tests that against his skin and squeaks.]
Cold!
[But after a couple seconds, he presses it to his cheek, shivering happily.]

27th
And then he sees Prompto snoozing in the chair and Sunshine in her little wagon. Now that makes him smile. Two adorable golden children, asleep without a care in the world? It's a good sight.
He leaves for a little while, returning with a thin blanket and a strip of cloth. The strip acts as a bookmark so he can set the heavy book aside, then he drapes the blanket over Prompto's sleeping form. How many times had he done this for Mina back home? She loves to read, and more times than Soma could count, she'd passed out with a book on her chest. Maybe doing this is just another bit of familiarity for him, a comfort of home. With that done, he sits in another chair and closes his eyes, not sleeping but simply listening to the rain.]

[ once prompto says the little birb is friendly, ann squats down to say hello. she's fluttering and saying something that ann assumes is her way of saying hi, so she starts to reach her hand out, but stops right before she can touch the bird. ]
I can pet her, right?

What is it with humans and their inability to make it back to their own quarters before falling asleep?
She glances at the notes scrawled on his hand and frowns slightly to herself; both the subject matter and the clear archival difficulties posed by taking notes on his hand are a little concerning.
Troll sensibilities warn against shaking someone awake, but she's comfortable enough around Prompto now to lean against the side of his chair a bit and speak quietly.] Hey, kid.

May 1st, beach
[Standing a moderate distance away, Wren waves cheerfully in greeting. There's no sign of Catria nearby, so it would seem she came to the beach on her own. She is dressed for the weather, at least... well, except for the coat draped over her shoulders, anyway.]

Babby Chocobo
[In her defense, she had never seen or heard of a chocobo before, and the size was probably comparable.]

And perhaps she should've expected to see Prompto down here, but she still looks a little startled to find him there. Or maybe it's just the new cheepy friend he has with him. ]
