The Great Snow Fight of 2019
Who: Everyone
What: People pack snow into little balls and throw them at each other
When: January 30st and probably on and off for a couple of days after
Where: The grounds outside Keystone
Warnings: The weather outside is frightful
There's...not always a lot to do around Keystone Station. Sure there's books and video games and movies but for someone like Lin, who gets antsy when she's cooped up inside for too long, that only holds her attention for so long.
And then it started snowing.
There's only one thing to do about that.
-1-
It was quiet out. Maybe...TOO quiet.
All of the sudden, snowballs started flying out of the gloom, often from strange directions (like directly overhead.). It was followed by the sound of Lin's laughter. Someone's trying to start some shit.
Sure, she COULD have just invited everyone outside and told them, but this seemed more fun.
-2-
After a while, word got around and more people started getting into the spirit of it. Now it's not hunt and ambush so much as just a ton of people in a big confusing melee. Forts have been built. Tenuous alliances have been made. Factions are betraying each other at the drop of a hat, and everything is chaos.
Truly, war is hell.
-3-
This is the prompt for people who have had enough snow fighting for now and are huddled together in the kitchen, where a big ol' pot full of spiced cider is gently simmering on the stovetop making the room nice and warm and also making it smell amazing.
[OOC: Prompt 1 is obviously more focused on Lin specifically, but feel free to use the other 2 for general mingling!

Face it Jail, I'm untouchable!
[At this declaration, a blur of yellow goes by, splatting Kyoko in the back of the head with a snowball. The blur resolves into a girl about Kyoko's age, with blonde hair in drill-style pigtails and huge… tracts of land. Also, there's Theme music now.]
Right. Forgot I made you.
You know what they say about pride and falls, Sakura-san.

That's some sweet-ass theme music, twintails. Kudos.
[She tilts her head and grins.]
'Course, now, that raises a question. Are we doing this three on one? Or...
[She bounces a snowball casually up and down in her hand, expression gleefully wicked.]
Is it every girl for herself?

[Ribbons fly from "Mami" and shape into two cannons much like Jail's, one pointed at Jail and the other at Kyoko. Noticably, they're still connected to "Mami" by ribbons.]
I believe this should suffice. TIRO FINALE!
[BOOM!]

[RUNNING TIME NOW.]
[Jail manages less of an elegant dodge and more of an extremely hasty duck and scramble, just barely making it out of the way before the gun fires.]
[Twisting aside, she launches a snowball at Mami to cover her escape and keeps running.]
[With her cannon out of commission, there's only one way for her to salvage this:]
[Get to higher ground.]

[Kyoko blocks the snow bullet with her spear before jumping in the opposite direction than Jail. "Mami" considers a moment, before deciding to return to the field. She already taught Sakura-san her lesson anyway.]

[When things aren't going your way, run right up a tree.]
[She makes good use of her magitech boots, sprinting straight for the nearest tree and running vertically up the trunk in total defiance of gravity. She doesn't stop until she's standing on the tip of the tallest branch.]
[Taking a moment to catch her breath, she looks around, surveying the battlefield.]
