DUNGEON - BELLMARE ENCLAVE (BELLMARE MOUNTAINS, PT 2)
The shadows are starting to grow very long as you crest his particular ridge - it's not night yet, but it will be soon. In the shadows of the afternoon, with a tall mountain already blocking the sun, lies a snow-covered valley that is different from the ones you've come across thus far in your investigation.
This valley is home to a town, and unlike all the settlements you've seen so far - Incendia, the Telovia mining town, and the manor - it's very much active. There are actual people in the streets, visible from above, going through their days on snow-free streets, bundled up against the cold.
Those of you who asked were told of the handful of people who didn't go into the slumber of stasis as the Fissure conditions of the world grew worse and worse, instead isolating themselves and trying to continue living their lives as they could. Now, it seems, you've found exactly such a group.
Welcome to the Bellmare Enclave, and enjoy your stay.
[[OOC: Welcome to part 2 of the dungeon! For the most part, interaction with the town's NPCs can be handwaved as described on the main information post. Worth noting are the following major things: The Bellmare Enclave isn't expecting visitors, though the people are generally friendly to the new arrivals. They don't know about the time dilation effect of their Fissure - to them, it's only been about eighteen years since the Slumber Plan was put in place and they withdrew from the world. And finally, by a similar token, they have no idea how far the Fissures outside of their own have grown - while it's not uncommon for them to find odd objects from time to time, they'll assume that the characters are just arrivals from other places within their own world, rather than outsiders, until told otherwise.]]

Pretend I posted this before the Mayor Thing
[So this is where Magde and Enje live...
After meeting up with Mai and Arianna on the way to town, Magde was happily reunited with her beloved pet. Some people would have taken this as a way to get on the town's good side, but Rantaro's happier to have successfully helped the girl out. It's certainly put him in a better mood than Maki's news...
Ah... Right... She can take care of herself, but he's still hoping she didn't get lost out there...
He's mulling all this over a meal at the cafe. He's graciously offered to clean the lobby as payment, and apparently the locals didn't really mind that talking watch of his, but if you visit him now you can tell something's on his mind.]
Fishing
[Yup. Ice fishing. Rantaro's taken a seat at one of the fishing holes and is casually fishing. He's done this a couple of times before, but not in such a cold climate... Still, no harm in trying something new once in a while. Keeps his mind off-]
Oh! [He's caught something! Whatever's hooked on his line is clearly fighting with him, but with just enough effort he manages to reel it in!
...]
Uh... [Rantaro's staring blankly at this small, ugly fish he caught. Someone tell him what a roocite is, please.]
The Forge
[Well, besides the weird looking fish, Rantaro still has some of those scarves he and Akana made. He's not sure how much they're worth, but he's thinking of commissioning a small pendant or two as gifts. Christmas is coming up, so he may as well get his friends something unique.
But what to get them... He's casually mulling over his options as he watches the glassblower at work.
What? These men put a lot of time and effort into their work. It's only fair to stop and appreciate it.]
Fishy Prompt
[The rabbit pauses for effect.]
No, not really. It's just a roocite. I had one while here. Absolutely delicious. Doesn't look like it, huh?

"Hey, don't scare people like that!"
[That voice sounds synthesized, and his lips aren't moving. Weird, but not talking rabbit eating fish weird.
Also, the roocite is flopping towards the hole, so someone might wanna catch it.]
no subject
"Whoa! That's what I get for teasing people."
no subject
"Sorry, let me take that off your hands." [If the girl rabbit will let him have the fish back.] "Are you OK?"
no subject
[She'll just hand the flopping fish over.]
"I'm fine, by the way. I've done crazier things."
no subject
[He'll take it and unhook it.] "Alright, can't say I don't believe ya at this point."
[He'd try cleaning the fish himself, but it's been a while since he actually had a live fish in his hands... Plus...]
"You don't happen to have a hunting knife on ya, do ya?"
no subject
[With that, she dissolves back into mist which condenses into the form of the rabbit.]
no subject
... "That makes sense."
[A sigh manages to escape his lips.] "Whelp. Guess our next best option is to give it to one of the chefs around here. You said you got to taste the fish at one of the local resturants, so why not?"
The Forge
[Poe stops to join Rantaro in watching the glassblower work. He has to admit, it's rather impressive to watch.]

Have you been to a place like this before in your ah... travels?
no subject
[Wait... He isn't actually speaking. That electronic voice seems to be coming out of his watch.]
