[Kyoko, who was so excited about the party, is nowhere to be found during it. Should anyone decide to look for her, she can be found on the roof watching the stars. She'll occasionally start to get up, before stopping and laying back down.]

[At some point after ten pm, Clair does go looking for Kyoko. By now she's heard (and read) about what happened.

The roof is the last place she expected to find the young lady though she can't say she blames her.

But she lingers at the entrance. Not so much unsure as respectful and polite.] ... It's a nice view. Would you care for some company?

[She glances at Clair, not even getting up.]

Might as well do something tonight.

[Not even phased. Nor does she move from where she is.]

If you want me to leave, I will. Yet, tell me your side of the story?

Long story short, my family was starving when I was a kid. I've still got issues over it, and I've got anger problems.

I'm sorry to hear that.

[There's is zero judgement.] May I ask about the issues and problems?

[Minako, while usually a social person, wasn't as interested in the party as she thought she'd be. So after awhile she leaves it and wanders, finding her way to the roof, and finding herself surprised to see Kyoko. But also happy, approaching but not getting too close and sitting nearby]

Hey Kyoko-san.

Oh, hey. Wasn't really expecting anyone else to come up here tonight.

Mm, I can understand that. A lot of people are really excited for the party.

I'm actually kind of glad though, that I left. I've been wanting to talk to you, if it's okay.

I guess, not like I've got somewhere better to be.

[She smiles and nods, thinking for a moment] I wanted to apologise to you, after what happened. I'm sorry.

Kyoko-chan! Where have you been?

[SHE HAS BEEN TRYING TO FIND YOU FOR DAYS]

Arianna-nee? I've been camping out in Amesta Forest. I just felt like getting away from everything for a while.

[daughterofthemark]

You should have told me! I've been so worried!

[redmeguca]

If I'd told you, you probably would have tried to stop me. No offense, but I wasn't even in the mood to talk to my own sister at the time.

I would not have tried to stop you. You needed space, and distance from Dame Enna as well. I only wished to know you had not disappeared, or been injured.

[She doesn't fully understand what was going through Kyoko's head, but she understands being upset and running off to hide in nature.]

[It's during the first half of the party that Kurama walks onto the roof, still wearing his costume. He moves to stand a few feet from Kyoko, his expression quietly considering.]

Goro says you want to change. To become better.

...Yeah. I made a new promise when I got here, and I mean to keep this one.

[byanyother_name]

That's a start. I do believe that anyone can change. I am, well, unliving proof of that.

[Kurama steps a little closer and sits down, folding his legs neatly.]

Do you have any plans yet?

[redmeguca]

Only in the most vague sense. Sometimes I'm not even sure if I want to be more or less like how I was before everything fell apart.

It's not all or nothing. You can always keep more of the traits that still have benefit, and less of the ones that don't. That's what I did.

[He tilts his head slightly, eyes intent on Kyoko.]

Either way, I think you'd benefit from learning better control over your anger and fear.

[Hope shows up a distance from Kyoko, looking awkward.] Um...hi. I heard about what happened on the network. Someone was wasting food and you got mad? [She kind of skimmed, because honestly wasting food sounds pretty bad to her as well.]

It looked like he was, at least. I didn't realize Kurama-san had caught it until later.

Oh...well, I still think it's not weird or anything that you got mad about that. I bet none of those people know what it's like to worry about having enough food...

Akechi-san made it pretty clear that he did, and that it was no excuse.

[If Hope looks, Kyoko is currently transformed so she could get on the roof, so she may see her Soul Gem turn slightly darker.]

Oh... [Hope walks closer to sit down next to Kyoko.] I don't really know everyone here yet, so I guess I shouldn't have said that. What did you do, though? From what I read it looked like Enna did more damage than you did. [Yeah, her skimming meant she didn't pick up on how serious those death threats were.]
