She shakes her head, coming over to take a closer look; the way the light plays on the surface of the disc certainly looks right to her, but she's no IT expert. "No, not magic. We'd need the right kind of device to read it, though," she says. "If it's like the ones my people sometimes use, the information is encoded in how a very thin beam of light reflects off the surface as it's spun around."
