I've never really put much stock in prophecies or fortune-reading or that kind of thing. I guess it works for some people, though.
[Maybe other worlds' magic is just developed a little differently to make it more reliable or something.]
Honestly, if it was him specifically, it sounds to me like it could have been set up by someone.
