Who: Goro Akechi, OPEN
What: Cooking, insomnia, April Fools, and making things.
When: Various in late March/early April
Where: Various
Warnings: Second prompt might lead to P5 spoilers or general murdergame ugliness.
[Kitchen - Last week of March]
[Goro generally doesn't cook for himself beyond boiling a few eggs, usually either taking advantage of large meals made by others or just getting someone to cook for him. There's a reason for that...a reason his boyfriends have been trying to address. This week, he's actually attempting various simple dishes in the kitchen...with varying degrees of success. That soup he's offering you might be made with sugar instead of salt with a scorched bottom, or the omurice could have large chunks of onions waiting for the unwary to bite into. Generally speaking, nothing is completely inedible, but it's entirely possible he might have made just about any amateur mistake in the book. Taste testers beware.]
[Communal area/Magic lab - Evening of 3/26 or daytime of 3/27]
[For reasons certainly not related to difficulty sleeping, tonight finds Goro Akechi awake at times he really should be asleep. He'll be up all night, playing various video games he found in the remains of the Fissure on the beach. He's easy to spot, at least, in his bright outfit.
Unfortunately for him, staying up all night doesn't come without a cost...especially with the sound of rain pounding away outside. By the afternoon, he's dozed of in the magic lab, slumped back in his chair with a book in his lap. Every now and then, his expression twitches in something unpleasant, but he's too deep asleep for whatever it is to wake him up on its own.]
[Throughout the Station (save the greenhouse floor and medical lab) - 4/1]
[Though there's no calendars in the Station, Goro's been keeping track of the date...and today is a 'holiday' he's never really had a chance to participate in before. Last April, the only person he was comfortable showing his sense of humor to didn't really have one of her own...now it's different. The trip cords he's set up, made of threads pulled from silk yarn, are attached to small containers balanced precariously above places people he knows generally frequent. At first glance, it seems like they're simply filled with room temperature water, but direct light causes the victims of his prank to sparkle dark purple - the water is nothing but a distribution method for a small amount of microglitter.
Of course, while he's only aiming for people he's generally relaxed around, there's nothing near a guarantee others won't get caught in the crossfire. Either way, he'll be hiding somewhere nearby, somehow all but invisible even if his only cover is a chair.]
[Kitchen again - 4/2]
[Want to lodge a complaint about yesterday's prank? Goro's going to be spending much of the day on the second in the kitchen, with a pile of bright red snake eel scales, a bottle of dark green dye, a spool of yarn, and various assorted crafting tools. He's working on separating the yarn into smaller threads, which he dyes dark green and uses to thread the scales together around a small glimmerstone. The later in the day, the easier it is to tell what he's making: a small 'glass' flower, with scales for petals and a stem crocheted around a thin piece of aluminum. And if he ends up with dark green fingertips from handling the dyed threads while they're still wet...well, prices must be paid.]

okay, while akira did want to learn how to sparkle, this is just ridiculous :/
Clearly changing his mind on that was the mistake. ]
?!
[ The sudden water seems to jolt him out of thought, his eyes widening as he stares at the floor for a moment. After the initial surprise, he begins wiping at his face, only to look at his hand, and-- ]
Goro Akechi, if this was you, I hope you know I'm gonna roll around on all your clothes.
[ WHO ELSE WOULD DO THIS??? And, if it was Goro, he knows good and damn well, his darling boyfriend would never pass up the chance to watch the fruits of his labor. SHOW YOURSELF, YOU HEATHEN.
... also, if it sounded like he's trying not to laugh, that's because he's seconds from doing it. ]
Consider it introductory lessons~
You say that as if you think I'd have a problem with it.
ah. best boyfriend, then, to give him a head start in the learning then :T
And he sure is casually walking over to his lovely boyfriend. ]
You always have had a thing for sparkling.
[ The second he's close enough, he's pressing a wet hand to Goro's cheek. ]

Ah, I'm sorry about that...I'm not very experienced in chopping vegetables yet, besides the most basic.

Somewhere in the residential area...
[The trap worked perfectly on a certain Succubus who wasn't thinking to make Spot checks against yarn tripwires.]
MY EYES IT wait why isn't it trying to blind me IT STILL HURTS but I'm not rolling a Fortitude save? What?
[Pidonus blinked a few times, confused. Thankfully, it washes out of her eyes easily.]
... What is this stuff?
no subject
It's just regular glitter mixed with water. I didn't mean for it to get into your eyes, but it's not going to blind anyone.
no subject
... It's not a weapon? That's... Uh. Huh.
Not fey magic, either. Fey magic's terrifying.

And yet Goro's still a better cook than Robin, probably
(Not without the disclaimer that he probably won't have any useful input when it comes to the actual cooking process.)
So, naturally, he volunteered to try this soup that Goro's made!]
... Well... it's better than what I usually make, at least. Though... you didn't happen to get the sugar and salt mixed up, did you?
[And that's not even touching on the bitterness from the scorching...]
No dishwater here.
[He tastes the soup for himself, then makes a face. There's a hint of caramel behind the carrots and onions, too...]
...In all fairness, sugar and salt look quite similar.

[It almost sounds like he knows from experience...]
Well... it could always be worse?

Is it really so unexpected? Today is April Fools.

He hasn't seen any more traps today, but better safe than sorry. So the only warning that Goro gets that he's about to be intruded on - if he looks up at the right time - is a single tarotlike card, seemingly embedded in the air over the table he's working at, before a burst of blue light follows it and HERE'S IZUNIA, DUDE.]
New project?

Ah-?!

Y-yes. It's meant to be a surprise, but I'm working on a gift for Kurama.

Well, I won't tell. It looks good so far.

prank time
And of course, she gets drenched. But the effect it has on Violet is kind of startling.
The instant the container bounces off her head, even as the water's still spilling everywhere, Violet whips around in a flurry of motion so quick that's difficult to follow. One second the container's still in the air, the next it's in her hand and at last she's tossed it to the floor so hard that it bounces a few times as it skids away, propelled by the momentum of her toss. And that's nothing to say of Violet herself, who's posture has gone from her usual pin-straight neatness to something coiled and angry, like an animal ready to pounce. Even her eyes seem brighter and fiercer than usual.
Then, like a lightswitch snapping off, that slightly worrying light goes out as she registers... oh. She's not being attacked...? Well, doesn't she look quite the fool standing there, soaked and glitter-bombed and looking like she's about to give that plastic container what's for. ]
no subject
Once she eases out of looking ready to attack someone, he slides out from behind a chair...nevermind that he really shouldn't have been able to hide behind that without being incredibly obvious.]
I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you think you were being threatened. It's just water and glitter, perfectly harmless.

Is that something you do a lot?
no subject
Not this in specific, but I do enjoy arts and crafts from time to time. Normally my preferred medium is vinyl stencils, but I do enjoy learning new skills.

But it's getting late, and Goro still hasn't come back to their suite. Which leads to Kurama coming looking for him.]
