[After she watched Moana with the crowd, Lily decided to stay around and watch some more. She'd never seen modern movies like that, after all- She hasn't watched any since she was a child. So she's got a pile of pillows to curl up in, a pile of movies by the TV, and a box of tissues for when she starts crying again. Because surely, every movie will be as good as Moana, right?

Unfortunately, that's not the case. You might find her with a few different genres. If she's watching horror, you might hear her shriek, and the loud impact of lightning striking the floor near her. If she's watching something action-y, the air around the AV room seems to have been heated several extra degrees. If she's watching romance? The entire floor with the AV room is flooded by pink sparkles, just floating in the air like nothing.

Or, you might have found the worst option. You might have found 'none of the above'. Where there is no magic effects, just her ranting at the TV.]

That doesn't make any sense- Are you telling me that they didn't listen to her for no reason, so they just- And why did they even have that button- And anyway, all of this would have been avoided if the guy had tried to talk to anyone in the past twenty years for any reason!

[... Someone should probably stop her.]

[Hi, Lily, someone was on his way to the library and stopped by that big lovely theater room. He's going to gently ignore the after effects of the lightning strike burning the floor a little.]

[lily you have literally watched multiple movies in that time.]

...It's been six and a half hours, Lily. I took a nap and came back.

[she pulls out her phone and looks at the time.]

That's one of the greatest powers of stories, however they're told. They pull you in so much that you don't notice the rest of the world for a time.

That's true... None are as good as that first one, though.

Perhaps you should ask one of your friends for recommendations? I'm not all that familiar with modern media myself.

Probably... I should. I don't know what we can find around here, though.

From what I can tell, there's a little bit of everything. Perhaps we should do movie nights more regularly.

Sorry, time magic isn't my thing. I can make you forget watching it if you want. I'll still leave you with a sense it was bad, though.

I... I don't like that part of my powers, but I can use compulsion magic just like I gave Tou-san. I used to be able to do illusions, but I lost that power a while ago along with my ideals. Now I can't even do my specialty. I can try, but it just doesn't-

Huh. That's new. You redecorating?

[Jail snickers and waves a hand to indicate all the bright pink magic floating around them.]

Dunno about you, but I'm pretty sure this place didn't have so much glitter last time I was in here.

[She finally notices, and starts waving her hands around, trying to get it to go away... It's not working so well, but she's trying.]

I'd still rather not cause this much of a scene!

[She's at least managing to draw all the sparkles back in towards her? But they are fading now that she's not thinking about the movie.]

This counts as a 'scene' now? Shit, I'd barely call it a 'distraction'. If I got sparkles everywhere, you'd all just be glad nothing was on fire.
