[A miracle is taking place behind the set-up paper screens that have suddenly appeared in the glass-walled lounge.
That miracle is "the Lucis Caelum twins, largely getting along."
There's also a tattoo gun involved.
Anyone who peeks around the screens Izunia set up for privacy at some point will find the younger twin stretched out on a tattoo chair, while Ardyn works on his arms or back. There's a light grey outline of the parts of the tattoo that haven't yet been finished - a greatsword that might look familiar down the left arm, a weird mechanical looking sword on the right, and six loops of chain hung between them, the lowest reaching almost all the way down Izunia's back to the waist. A handful of weapons hang in the loops, and there's a few notable gaps... Discounting the gaps of the broken links, there's precisely a hundred and fifteen links in all.
While Ardyn works, Izunia seems, mostly, to zone out, either with music playing for the both of them or something on a tablet in front of him, headphones in. For a guy getting stabbed repeatedly, he largely seems pretty relaxed, fiddling with his set of floating crystals idly.
Occasionally, however, one might happen by and hear the twins bickering, as they do...]
Rise, anywhere
[What's this?
Well, long-term residents of the Station will probably recognize the giant, fluffy silver tabby who butts against their ankles. Verity's on the prowl, looking for attention and/or snacks.
But... Where's Izunia? He doesn't normally let her out like this...
And that's assuming that she hasn't just suddenly appeared in your room. You closed that door for sure, right?]
July 30th, late evening, closed to Junpei
[Investigation episodes are always rough. And Ardyn did warn him that this one, in particular, had the black blood that comes with the Scourge.
Izunia's prepared for that.
He's not prepared to see Junpei, apparently dead, lying in a pool of it, and in the safety of his room, he very nearly throws the tablet across the room.
Actually, he does throw it - just into the Armiger in a moment of not completely losing his head, rather than letting it impact anything.
Time to hyperventilate.]
Anything else
[Nap grandpa is somewhat more absent for the next two weeks than usual, even given that he's spending half or more his afternoons spread out getting inked. If you're in his most prominent haunts, however - Fight Club, the kitchen on the doubles floor of the Rise, or the observation deck at dawn or dusk (especially dawn, lately, oddly enough for a Lucis Caelum) - he's hard to miss.
Also, if you're one of the handful of people he keeps a special eye out for - chiefly Prompto, Maddie, and Elize - you might find him turning up at your door after a tattooing session with a hot meal or two.]

[He smiles in the direction of where Eizen probably is.]
And I'll not leave anyone to such loneliness while there's something I can do about it.
no subject
[Wow, how dare you, Izunia, you're going to give him a feeling at this rate.]
It's not so bad

no subject
Seems like a lot of effort for someone you barely know. Too close to home?
[it clearly can't just be because Izunia likes him right]
no subject
I do consider you a friend, you know. Perhaps it's a bit forward of me, but reaching out to people hasn't yet led me astray.
no subject
That simple, is it
[Eizen might be more than a little amused, even if it probably doesn't come across very well through text alone.]
no subject
no subject
Well. Guess that's fine then. Though I'm sure I couldn't stop you from trying anyway
That's how it is with straightforward people right?
no subject
That's exactly how it is.
no subject
Good thing I happen to like that.

[And while one hand is still occupied with holding the phone, the other is going to stop petting the sleepy kitty and...
Well, he may not be able to see you, Eizen, but can he touch you?]
no subject
He's invisible, but he's still very much there. No passing through him.]
no subject
okay no really
It's like he's actually here.
It's why Eizen blinks in surprise a few times in uncharacteristic surprise, not entirely sure how to respond.
...Which is hard to do, anyway, when one of his hands is occupied. But he can try to send another message with one hand. He figures that's fine. He can't just stand here like an idiot, even if Izunia can't see it. Except, distracted as he is and with a little help from his curse, his phone slips out of his hand.
And lands.
With a very worrying crack.]
no subject
Oh, of course. I'm sorry.
[But he can't help the little tinge of laughter at it, either.]
no subject
Yeah, you really sound it. [He stares at the remains of the phone. It... definitely doesn't look salvageable. But that's about what he expected. The curse doesn't tend to go easy.
And of course it still managed to land face down, too.] So much for communication. Kind of puts a damper on our talk.
Guess now it's just me talking to the air.

I feel as though I should have gotten the larger version of this sort of chair that I saw in the city... Just a moment, I know I've got some alternatives -
[He hasn't let go yet, even as with his other hand he calls up a somewhat more-stable looking second chair, a hard-backed notebook, and a pen. Eizen seems like the black ink sort.]
no subject
...Some alternatives, he says.
[Well, writing he should be able to handle. Assuming the pen doesn't explode on him, which he's not ruling out. He'll just take a seat and put that pen to paper.]
You're way too prepared for this.
...They don't have a one phone per person limit, do they?
no subject
Verity just kind of settles into his lap, and he starts petting her again when he releases Eizen's wrist.]
I can't imagine they do. And I tend to be a bit too prepared for everything, left to my own devices. It's somewhat reassuring.
no subject
[It'd suck to be cut off, although it isn't like he wouldn't understand.]
I think most people call that "paranoia".
no subject
[With luck like that, it's something Eizen surely understands. The feeling of being stretched tight as you wait for the shoe to drop.]
Being able to do something when that happens offsets it. Even if the solution is something as small as a pen and notebook.
