Is everybody ready? The gliders are all set for those of you who are ready to go; Strange and Up are taking the drones, too, if you're not comfortable flying. They're all down in the hangar cavern waiting.

And indeed, so they are - there's four of the androids in the cavern, actually, in a gaggle around one of the metallic drones. Top is here, apparently to give them a send-off, giving Charm's shoulders a tight squeeze before stepping away to oversee and help anyone who needs a hand with the gliders. Charm, Strange, and Up are all carrying packed bags - Charm's a bright red backpack, the other two with reasonably large duffels.

If you hadn't heard about the androids planning to accompany you, it's pretty obvious now as the three of them load up, Strange and Charm in one of the drones and Up in the other.

And then, whether it's by glider or flying drone or some other means, away you go, with a last reminder -

Don't forget that sunset in the city is around 7PM this time of year! Don't get caught aboveground, and make sure to tell anyone you run into who's just arrived!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

[He tries to draw it out, but the smile's creeping up on him no matter how strong he attempts to be. He laughs and pulls out a matching game, blue to his yellow.]

Yeah, I found this one too! The games communicate somehow, I haven't read the rules yet, but we can help each other out. Or battle! You wanna be my arch-rival?

[Prompto elbows his best friend--his boyfriend--practically bouncing on the balls of his feet.]

Blue. Nice.

[ His grin matches Prompto's. It's the kind of smile only Prompto gets to see, so wide that if he holds it for too long his cheeks start to hurt. He takes the blue game. ]

Definitely. Don't worry, I'll try not to beat you too hard.

Hahaha, as if!

[He cackles and darts ahead, turning to hold the game above him.]

You wish you could touch this pure monster-taming skill. Which one here talks to animals again? Hmmm?

[ Rude!! Noctis grins and follows him, then goes to grab him around the middle to hoist him over his shoulder. ]

And who's the one who can turn into a cat?

[He yelps and ends up laughing again, letting the game disappear back into the Armiger so he can swat at Noct's back with his hands.]

Hey! Hey! Doesn't that mean I can tame you, buddy? I'm changing your name to Socks and you're gonna be my bestest little buddy, aren't youuuuu.

Hey!

[ Noctis laughs and grabs his ankles, holding him like that. ]

Do that and I'll never turn into a cat for you again. You'll have to live without seeing my cute little toebeans.

Noooooooo!

[And he grabs a double handful of Noct's butt and squishes it.]

How will I live?!

[ Oh my god. He nearly does drop Prompto then. ]

Penalty! No Nyactis for a week.

Whoop--!

[Somehow, Prompto manages to cling on and not fall on his head, though it means he has to relinquish Dat Butt. Giddy, he stays there, chuckling.]

...Worth it.

[ He huffs a little, but he laughs right after, so the effect's kind of ruined. Either way, he sets Prompto down, but keeps on holding him. ]

I guess you're forgiven. Only because you're cute.

[Blushing faintly, Prompto cuddles right up, rubbing his nose against Noct's shoulder.]

I'm cute and I get you video games. And pet you under the chin. I mean, what more could you want?

Be still my heart. I've got the best boyfriend ever.

[ He plays with Prompto's hair, grinning. ]

Nice hair, by the way.

[He straightens up to show it off more, obviously pleased.]

Right? I can do yours, too. I took all the stuff, though I guess we might want the mirrors.

Yeah?

[ He tugs at his hair a little bit. ]

It's been getting kinda out of control. I could use a haircut.

Oh. You trust me?

[It shouldn't mean so much, it's just a haircut, he knows how Noct feels about him. But still. It does.]

Yeah. Of course I do.

[ He wraps his arms around Prompto. ]

What, you expected me to say no?

You do always say my hair looks like a chocobo butt.

As long as you don't make my hair look like a chocobo butt, it's fine.

Hmm.

[He turns aside.]

Cloudy! Cloudy, here, boy! I need to use your butt as a model!

What? [ He's laughing now. ] No way! You are not making my hair look like any kind of butt!

[He falls back into Noct, laughing, too, and impulsively lifts up on tiptoe to kiss his cheek.]

Fine. You just want it the way you had it?

[ He grins and holds him close, ruffling his hair. ]

Yeah. Just the way I had it. It's a look that's always worked, anyway.

[Teasingly sing-song:] If you say so!

[But he rubs his head against Noct's cheek and nods.]

Sure, though, I can do that. Wanna do it at the barbershop or back at camp, or...?

[ He kisses his forehead. ]

I don't mind waiting. We've got a lot to look at here.

Okay.

[And, if looking is to be done, it'll be easier to walk and look if they're holding hands and not all tangled up in each other. Prompto laces his fingers through Noct's, looking down as he does so, then lifts his chin and swings their arms lightly as they go.]

It was kind of different when you were a kid. Less spiky.

[He kind of only wants to look at Noct, not the city. Oops.]
