Well. Wren had decided to do some more exploring atop her winged steed, so she's making her way across the Bloodsands when, thanks to the quick reflexes of both Catria and herself, she just barely manages to avoid getting beaned with a landshark. She turns back and stares down for a moment at the wounded, bloodied sand fish — bizarre enough on its own, let's not forget — before swirling around to peer at her assailant. She sees the shadow of something massive, but can't make out anything of the creature beyond a vaguely... avian silhouette.

Okay, this is apparently happening now.

She flies closer, though hopefully not close enough to draw the demon bird's ire, and leans in as close as possible, squinting. Yes... this is definitely a giant, semi-invisible seagull she's looking at. She's not sure whether to laugh at the absurdity of it or fear the monster that could easily rend her limb from limb.

For the moment, she simply has Catria tread air while she continues to examine the bizarre creature as best she can and tries to formulate some kind of potential plan of attack.
