none of them knew they were robots
Who: Carnivac & you
What: Catchall! ft. Awoo-ing, snacks, poetry & giant robots
When: Jun 13-15
Where: Around the station
Warnings: Being inconsiderate towards animals
Farm chambers
[Anyone around Level 2 might hear a loud, piercing howl ring out through the floor. To those who wish to investigate the scene, just outside the far room of the farm chambers, they'll find Carnivac in his robot form, with a number of dazed and stunned baby chicks being scooped into his arms with a profound lack of delicacy.]
Kitchen
[Despite not having any need to actually eat, here he is still, in the kitchens, fitting his furry snout into the cupboards and fridge in search of...something? Anything?Unfortunately, being in his wolf form, he's making rather a mess of it, creating a chaos in the cupboards and floor.
There's something resembling a pile of what he's set aside, but none of it seems to be anything that would ever go together. He could probably use some guidance from someone familiar with actual food.]
Beach/Roof
[At night, Carnivac can be spotted at the beach and the roof in his robot form, sometimes pacing back and forth, sometimes sitting still. One constant is that he's talking to himself, a low growl of a murmur, network device in hand.
Anyone sneaky enough might be able to listen in before being noticed. He certainly sounds like he's quite passionate about what he's saying, though somewhat embarrassed about by the hushed tones he's using even when seemingly alone.]

Bear-san? ...Hello. Are you looking for something.
no subject
Not in particular. Just anything interesting to try.
[He then turns to the little robot bear.]
Hello, Bear-san.
no subject
I see. We do need a supply run in the next Fissure. Probably.
no subject
It might be a bit of a gamble from the sounds of it.
[He looks at the stuff he's grabbed at random, and back to the cupboard.]
Do you know how to cook, Mai?
no subject
no subject
[He admittedly knows very little about human society.]

no subject
[He tilts his head. Seems pretty important to forget.]
no subject
[This has taken years and probably a lot of therapy to admit, but there it is.]
So forgetting to eat... Common. [shrug]
no subject
After a moment, he gives a brief glance around the kitchen.]
Is there anything here you could cook with?
no subject
[She starts looking around the pantry.]
no subject
What's the difference between the two?

Roof
[This being Jail, instead of wrestling with some big philosophical question or plot exposition, the thing that was keeping her up was an idea for some weird magitechnical device, and she was idly scribbling plans on a piece of paper with various colored markers. But at least she'd been polite enough to do her brainstorming somewhere it wouldn't wake up her roommate.]
[Lost in her work as she is, it takes a moment before she realizes she's not the only one up here, at which point she looks over and greets the... unfamiliar (?) robot with a casual:]
Hey.
no subject
Underneath his appearance of seeming calmness, he does genuinely relax at the realization of who's in his company.]
Evening.
[He quickly shuts off the device and holds it by his side.]
no subject
[She's curious about what he's doing with the device, but not quite enough to bother him about it, so she sticks to asking casually.]
no subject
[He's coming up to 8ft tall, doorways are a pain.]
There could be worse choices for that, though.
[So, yes.]
Would she recognize his voice from his wolf form or no?
yeah, his voice doesn't change at all
What about you?
no subject
Like I said, it's a good view. Not bad for thinking. Besides, I like to be tall.
[Jail, you're five foot nine. By human standards, you're already tall even before you add the giant stompy boots.]
no subject
[Being usually in a form that's shorter than most of the station with the exception of Morgana, being able to tower over others can be a nice break.]
How's the thinking going?
[He casts a glance to her papers from beneath his visor.]
no subject
Not bad. Still got a ways to go on this thing, but I got some good shit down for the basics.
[The papers appear to be covered with sketches and diagrams, plus a lot of very complex mathematical calculations in the margins. Jail's scribbly cursive handwriting can be kind of hard to read, but the drawings are the clear, methodical kind you'd expect from an engineer. If you can make heads or tails of it, they appear to be plans for some kind of water-powered device. ]
no subject
[He tries to examine the papers, but he doesn't really get much from it, just the idea of something being made.]
What, exactly?
no subject
[Jail looks pleased with herself. This may or may not be a good thing.]
no subject
And what might that 'something' be?
