Faith June Catchall
Who: Faith and anyone else
What: Incoherent texting, hangovers, video games.
When: From the drug PSA groupwatch through the end of the month
Where: Wherever, really
Warnings: Implied alcohol and drugs
1 - The night of the drug PSA
[ Over the space of about an hour, Faith texts out several consecutive public posts. If you weren't there for this, the context might be a bit confusing. ]
(1A, attached to a blurry picture of a TV screen)
What the fuck is this thing
(1B)
Poll are ghosts real or fake also how can I meet some
(1C)
Yoooo where all the single ladies at tonite
(1D)
19
(1E)
[ This one is a video post. A shaky one, focusing approximately in the direction of an indistinct object on the floor. ]
Check this shit out. C'mere, leg.
[ The object - apparently Faith's prosthetic - levitates off the ground, and floats towards the camera until Faith grabs out with her free hand. ]
I've had this for months and it's still sick. Jail is awesome.
2 - The day after the drug PSA
[ Getting high, getting drunk, poor planning skills and being kind of a lightweight are not a good combination. Faith gets up today at the crack of noon, dragging herself reluctantly out of bed to interact with a world full of bright lights and loud sounds to eat something. For what little time she's actually around and interacting with the world, she looks about as well as someone with the devil's own hangover to look.
If you want to say hi, do it softly. ]
3 - A/V Room
[ With no classes to attend and no real job to do, Faith can get bored. Bored enough, even, to play the occasional video game. How bad could it be?
Battle Kid Maker, chosen off the list at random, seems to be some kind of action platformer where you make your own levels and trade them with other people online. There's no online connection to pull more levels from, but apparently the console came with a couple dozen levels already saved on its hard drive. There are barely any on there that aren't nigh-impossible.
What started as a way to kill time eventually transformed into a battle of pride. Faith's mounting frustration has pushed all thoughts of just putting the game out of her head, and is also probably the source of those swear words echoing out into the hallway. Someone should probably distract her before the station ends up with one less functional controller. ]
4 - Wildcard
[ Anything else you want to do with Faith? Hit me up!]

Turns out weed shuts down the part of my brain that's in charge of telling me when to stop drinking.

Here. You feeling okay enough for food, or would this be too much? [A gesture to what she's making.]
no subject
What is that stuff, anyway?
no subject
[She tilts her head, considering something.]
If you've had egg foo young, it's kind of like that.
no subject
What the hell, let's give it a try. I probably should food at least a little.
no subject
It should taste okay... it's something I'm reasonably confident in making.
no subject
[Food is a daunting prospect right now, but nutrients should help the hangover go away. Right?
Faith eats the kanitama in grim silence, not even really tasting it. Food is food.]
no subject
Here, you should probably take this, too.

I don't know how anyone becomes an alcoholic.

[... Aside from that, though, she's doing well at not showing her discomfort about the topic. She eventually sits down with her own kanitama to start eating as well.]
