What: Wren's been alerted that one of the newcomers has been coming around and making starry eyes at Catria on the regular...

It's a little earlier than usual that Akira finds herself wandering down to the stables. The weather's actually at least somewhat tolerable in the mornings at this point, but she's got a feeling it'll get worse... But, that's not the point of the visit today--well, that's pretty obvious. The point of the visit is always to go take a look at that beautiful pegasus in the stables. It's always so tempting to try to reach out to pet the winged horse, but so far, Akira hasn't dared.

... Actually, she's not even sure who the pegasus even belongs to...

[Well, that sounds like Wren's cue, doesn't it? In she comes, but before she goes to tend to her pegasus she takes a quick look around the stable — and yep, sure enough, there's the girl, just as her brother said. She looks toward Akira with a faintly amused expression.]

She doesn't bite, you know.

[Akira starts a little when she's addressed, turning towards Wren with a sheepish expression. Ah, she's been caught...]

Maybe not, but I didn't want to go touching without permission... She's yours, then?

[thoroff]

Very wise of you.

[She glances at the pegasus briefly but with unmistakable fondness.]

Yes, she is.

She's beautiful.

[She's clearly awed.]

Up until I got here I only heard about pegasi in stories or seen pictures of them... to see one for real is amazing! What's her name?

Catria.

[She moves closer to the steed in question, leaning against the wall of her stall.]

And I'm Wren, by the way. I hear this isn't the first time you've been hanging around here?

[She turns a bit pink at the question, then nods.]

I've been visiting ever since I spotted Catria...

[--Ah, but where are her manners? She bows quickly, looking sheepish.]

It's nice to meet you... My name's Akira. [A pause, before she clears her throat and continues.] An alternate world double of the one that was already here, apparently...

[... She doesn't like referring to herself as a double like this, but it gets the point across well enough.]
