Library, Post-Dungeon
[ Yes, it's only been a few days since the last session, but look. There's not really a whole lot else to do on this station.
Tali spends much of her time after the dungeon in the library. There's notebooks and pens at her side, because whatever she's doing, it looks like she's goddamn studious and serious about it. And then there's this big fuckall binder filled with random notes and other assorted nonsense, that looks like it's been tabbed and flagged to hell and back. Tali looks in and out of it somewhat obsessively, often double-checking whatever book she's currently reading and then scribbling something into either the notebook or binder. She'll stop, sometimes, to grab a drink or throw away her crumpled-up paper balls or chat with whoever's around.
If you take a look at the books, they're from a variety of topics and sections. There's a book about various fantasy universe foods, another book about medieval European weapons and armor, a couple of sword and sorcery type fantasy books, and a shitton of books from the Magic section of the library.
And then, second largest in comparison to the magic books, is a stack of... baby name books? A lot of these names seem pretty foreign to her, so she silently mouths several of them to herself before writing the ones she likes on a few different sheets of paper in her binder.
She's there for hours on most afternoons, so you can probably find her there if you're there for whatever.]
Lounge, May 25
[After firing off a quick reminder on the network about the next session, Tali's camped out in the residential area's lounge, having already set up the table. She's also suggested that people bring snacks, and, on her end, has tried making some fried noodles that just... came out kinda sad. It won't kill you, but it does taste like disappointment.
The lack of supplementary material in the station means that she is, in fact, homebrewing like 90% of this shit. She's also found an interesting-looking character class in one of those Cellars and Cryptids books and the rules are about the same, so she's copied that over, along with a stack of character sheets that she's printed out of AV hell. The Big Binder From Hell also makes an appearance. And then also the books proper from when Chiaki did this. Let's not forget those.
In the absence of any proper materials to make miniatures with and any sculpting ability, she's got several smooth pebbles from outside that she's drawn on with marker. She's also drawn several maps on graph paper, made herself a custom DM screen out of a spare bit of cardboard, and... look, it's commendable with the amount of effort she's gone through.
She strokes Ula, who's sitting in her lap with a sense of contentment, as she waits for people to stop by. The plot continues: something about missing children in the town and an odd smell coming from one of the larger houses, you see where this is going.]
