IC INTRO - JUNE '18
After the fight with the siren has settled, those characters with phones hooked to the KEystone network will get a text -
Okay, everyone, you had better come back in. There's a storm brewing just off the coast.
Even given Up's usual professionalism, it seems rather... subdued?
----
For once, there are no androids at all to greet you upon your return, or arrival, as the case may be. A shelter has been set up for the boats on the shoreline of Glitterstone, however. By the time you tromp up the lighthouse stairs to the level of the Station itself, the sky is beginning to grey with the promised storm.
There's not the typical feast outside, but there is a fairly extensive taco bar set up in the common room, left unattended as well. The room sign-up sheet and boxes of freebies are also there, complete with the Braille versions, and a note at the bottom of both room sheets reads "If all rooms are full, space has been made in the meeting rooms on the top floor. We'll have additional rooms available as soon as possible."
It does appear that someone has updated the murder counter while you were away, however, for the turning of the week. It now reads 15 weeks without murder.
Other than that, you're free to explore, including in the newly finished sections of the Annex (should you be willing to brave the storm to get between buildings). However, wherever you go, the androids are almost conspicuously absent - even in the medical bay and Down's workstation in the command center.
The meeting room they have for their own private use is securely closed and locked.

Um... how'd you know my name though? I don't remember giving it...

shit. ]
Ah, um... well... [ she can recover this somehow??? right??? ] It's... it's your show, of course! [ WHAT IS SHE SAYING!! ] You're all so recognizable, I just... well, I'm sure you get it all the time!
[ Fucking. Nailed it. Hole in one, Yuuri. ]
no subject
Wow! I didn’t think anyone would ever recognize me again like this!
[ If he were talking to a guy he might stop and be suspect since he’s not being mistaken for his brothers, but this is a girl so that’s different! ]
no subject
THAT ACTUALLY WORKED???
It takes Yuuri a moment to process this and collect herself, but that can easily be passed off as being starstruck over running into a Real Life Anime, right? Right. ]
Th–the new one! [ she's assuming that's the right answer, please don't let her trip at the finish line like this ] This isn't something from a skit, is it?

Yuuri do not forget how dumb all matsus are.
Anyway he still buys it completely. At her question though his ears pin down and he looks at the ground. Even his tail droops. ]
Ah... no. This is... this is just the way I am now...
no subject
I... I see...
[ There's an awkward beat of silence before she makes an incredibly transparent attempt to change the subject. ]
You made it back here safely, though, right? Y–you didn't have any trouble?
no subject
Yeah, no real trouble. Other than getting separated from my brother.
[ He pauses. ]
...I hope he got here all right. He wasn’t turned into a mer and he can’t fly in storms...

I'm sure he would've been fine. Whenever we have a big group of people turn up, everyone does their best to help each other out.
I could keep an eye out for him, if you like?
