Cat About Town

What: Catch-all post!
When: From mid-April to mid-May

Warnings: IDK, maybe some swearing? I don't expect much.Except you guys possibly filthing up my poor innocent kitten's nice clean post. =P
Pool Party (cat form; during the heatwave, 5/2-5/4)
[You know what really sucks? Having black fur during a heatwave. Cats run hotter than humans to begin with, he's stuck with a full fur coat, and he's a heat sink? Maybe he's a weenie, but he's still basically dying over here.
However! Morgana has found a solution. He's turned the laundry room sink into his own private pool, closing the drain and filling it with just enough cold water to come up to his neck if he's laying down. Maybe you spot him lounging while you come in to do some laundry? Or maybe you hear some splashing and come to investigate; he's not above playing in the water a little. (As long as he's alone, that is. He has a reputation to maintain!)]
Let's Play (mascot form; whenever)
[Morgana's still not really used to the fact that he can just..... take his mascot form whenever he wants to now. Usually, he goes around as a cat; even in a strange place like this, it's surprisingly easy to just forget. Now, though? He's a man on a mission!
That mission is to play video games himself for the first time ever, because he actually has paws capable of holding a controller now. Any gamers and/or nerds around who would like to help him pick one from the selection he's examining, impart their wisdom, or just do a two player game with him?]
Food Glorious Food (mascot form; whenever)
[Have you ever tried to use a kitchen when you're about two feet tall? It's actually pretty hard, especially when you don't even know how to cook. He's got to pretty much climb inside the fridge to get almost anything that isn't in the bottom drawers, (please don't close him inside because you think somebody left the door open, or you're going to get a very distressed cat probably slamming you in the gut with the door as he throws it open again), climb on the counter and maybe into the cabinets to get to anything, and let's not forget how hard it is to try and climb up or down while holding something..... The kitchen is an exercise in frustration, and the hungrier he is, the more of a headache it is to navigate.
Are you encountering him dragging in a chair so he can get to the counter more easily? Jumping out of a cabinet with a plate or bowl? Sitting on the counter reading the instructions on a package to try and make it himself? Or maybe he's given up on actually cooking, and is just eating an entire thing of lunch meat straight out of the pack.]
Sleeping Around (cat form; later in the month, after whenever the boys decide to sexile him)
[He was with Akira first; the bedroom is his territory by right. Ugh! (He's not jealous, he's offended......Yeah, no, he's totally jealous. He's still kind of insecure to be happy about getting kicked out.) But still, if Akira doesn't want him there anymore, he guesses he can't stay..... What a pain in the ass.
Where is he supposed to sleep now, anyway? He hadn't signed up for anything on the housing sheet because he'd assumed he'd be able to keep staying with Akira. What's even the point of signing up for his own room anyway, when he can't even reach the keypad that unlocks the doors?! This sucks! What a pain in the ass. Being short in a world made for the convenience of giants is hell, don't let anyone tell you differently.
If Morgana has some decent positive CR with you, or if Akira would've asked you to let him stay with you for a night, you may find a cat pawing at your apartment door on any given evening. He doesn't want to impose on anyone else too much by moving in with them for good..... So for the time being, at least, the equivalent of couch surfing seems like the best interim solution.]

Hey! So, I was thinking. Since reality is less stable in Fissures, maybe going out into them to try and learn magic or practice new skills might make it easier to do? I was especially thinking about that forest, since it seems like it's a lot easier for your thoughts and intentions to literally take shape there.
Anyway, I was thinking of going out there to practice! Does anyone else want to come, this time or on the regular? It's not too long of a drive, but I need someone who can actually drive me. Or several someones, if more than one person wants to tag along; I can seat seven or eight people.
[Morgana, this is literally your first network post, and you're asking people to drive you. Shouldn't you have remembered to explain that you're also a bus?]
Eye of the Tiger (multiple forms; anytime from 5/6 onwards)
[Did you decide to tag along with him to Amesta Forest? Or maybe he's decided to stay a little closer to home and practice at Bloodsands Beach today, and you just happened to stumble across him. You may find him cycling between forms--regular house cat, mascot, and bus--, changing his shape in various ways while a bus, or..... standing still and concentrating while in his cat or mascot form, because try as he might, he can't adjust those the way he can the inorganic shape.
At least for now, he looks determined rather than frustrated. The weirdness and instability of Fissues means that people can sometimes spontaneously develop magic after spending time in them, right? Which means it's the best choice for trying to figure out how to destabilize these distortions that have taken over his body. He will purge himself of them, and reclaim his humanity and his memories, no matter what!1111]

Heck, they might not even have things like buses or trains anymore to be able to commute. Who knew? This was a hundred years after a cataclysm; anything could have happened by then. Work and travel and fashion were probably all very different beasts. The nightlife, though..... somehow, he suspected that might not actually be quite as different. Partying would always be partying, and there would probably always be red light districts, no matter what happened to the state of the world.
