Um... well, what I know, I heard secondhand, and I definitely wasn't the guy's target audience. But I know it's... there's this stuff called "plasmodia," and that's what causes the disease. [He touches the text he was reading.] I looked it up and it's some kind of parasite. But instead of just, like, eating people, it changes them. Turns them into daemons. And then, when the daemons die, they release this miasma that people with the right tech can harvest and use to power magitek cores.

Though I guess most of that isn't really relevant to curing it.
