His hand with the napkin balled up in it comes to rest on the table in front of him, while his other fingers come up to idly wrap around the metal straw of his iced coffee and swirl it around restlessly.
He has a duty. A duty to protect them both. And beyond that, he's not sure. A duty to... guide them? To love them, even, despite that they will both hate him forever...? He can see in Akechi's eyes how set he is on hating him. As he should be.
After a few moments, quietly, he looks over at Akechi.]
