[One might assume Prompto Argentum, bright and chipper city slicker, would be happy to find all these people to converse with. It's not long, though, before he's overwhelmed by their presence--by the attention, the staring, the curious looks--and slinks off to be by himself.]

re: all these people we found
did anyone tell them we're not from here?
......or what's going on outside?
ii. Power Station
[Because this is the one place devoid of people, it's the place Prompto eventually comes to. He sits against the wall outside the station, finally properly bundled up so as to avoid standing out any more than usual, and keeps looking at his phone. Like this, he resembles nothing so much as a wallflower retreating to the outskirts of a raucous party, like he has to catch his breath or pretend he's busy with something to avoid all that socializing.
When approached, he stiffens, but if it's someone he recognizes from around Keystone, he exhales and lets his shoulders fall.]
Hey. ...Think we should look into this place? [He nods at the power station.] Maybe we'll find something useful.
[Though Prompto seems more interested in getting away from the townspeople than exploring, per se.]
iii. Transport Garage
[Prompto squats beside a magic-powered sled, and after checking over his shoulder to make sure the proprietors aren't going to yell at him if he touches it, he runs a hand along the side, frowning.]
Wish I could get my hands on a regular snowmobile...
iv. The Old Willow
[Oh, no, why did he come back into town?
Prompto hasn't finished his meal yet, so he's trapped by social convention, shrinking into himself as a number of Older Ladies--who, of course, are all very lovely!--crowd bit by bit into his personal space and try to get him to talk about himself.]
Oh, um, I'm from... w-well, ahaha, uh. I mean, I've traveled a lot, so... s-so, ah...
[hleP?
Look, there's a lack of young, strong, tall drinks of water among the Bellmare Enclave, and these ladies are thirsty.]
